Sunil Bhalla

Director

Sunil Bhalla has extensive experience in governance, strategic planning, and community-focused initiatives. ​ He is a Graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and holds an MBA in Finance and advanced degrees in Civil Engineering and Construction Management. ​ Sunil has served in senior executive roles across local government and the private sector, including six and a half years as a Regional City CEO, where he led large teams, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and delivered impactful community projects. ​

Sunil has held multiple board positions, including Director roles at Wimmera Development Association and Grampians Tourism Board, and Chair of Rural Councils Corporate Collaboration. ​ Sunil has been actively involved in community service, volunteering for over 15 years with the Sri Durga Arts/Cultural and Educational Centre in Melbourne. ​

As the Founder and Director of the Child Education and Rights Foundation, Sunil is committed to breaking the cycle of poverty for disadvantaged children and young people by providing access to quality education and skills training.
